About Wholly Covered Buttons

I was constantly throwing away shirt with tiny little holes in them.  It was maddening. How were the holes being created?  (Those are my actual shirts - and a few of my favorites - with tons of little holes!) After a lot of Googling and research, I discovered that the holes are created when shirts rub against buttons that have a rough texture and another surface, like the kitchen counter.

Jeans buttons were the biggest offenders for me.  I searched high and low to find a solution and after buying several covers online that didn't work, I got some moldable plastic (and burned my fingers a few too many times) before creating the prototype for these silicon button covers.

No more holes! I cover all of my pants buttons now and save myself a ton of money in replacement shirts!  I hope they save your shirts too!
